Walking Holidays in The Costa Blanca

Enjoy the winter sunshine with our holidays on the Costa Blanca, based in comfortable hotels offering ensuite, half board accommodation with a choice of single, double or twin rooms. Most hotels have swimming pools and other amenities. We offer a choice of centres where we base our holidays, all within a short drive of the hills and mountains and coastal locations where we will be walking.

The Costa Blanca has the mildest and most pleasant winter climate in Europe. It is warmer, drier and sunnier than the UK is in summer and you can walk in shorts (but for the cacti) and T-shirt. In the winter we avoid the crowds and the scorching heat of summer, and offer you the opportunity to join a group of similar fitness, ambition and age as yourself.

Walkabout ensure that walks at an appropriate grade are available every day. The sample programme shows Easy, Moderate or Hard walks each day in different and contrasting parts of the Costa Blanca.

Holidays are based in the following centres, each one equally convenient for our walking programmes. Our groups always stay together in the same hotel, in Benidorm.

Benidorm is a unique town with a fantastic variety of things to do and places to visit and enjoy. Despite its garish reputation, it is a lively, interesting and pleasant place to stay in the quiet winter months.
