Trekking and Walking Holidays in France

Our walking holidays are based in Chamonix in early July, and again in late August and September. These are the best times of the year to walk in the Alps. The deep winter snow has gone, the paths and mountain huts are open, the days are near their longest and sunniest and we avoid the crowded summer high season.

We currently offer two sorts of walking holiday in the Alps. To choose a walking holiday in France select one of the holidays listed below and marked with a bullet point and underlined.

For Easy and Moderate walkers:

For trekkers and hard grade walkers:

• Tour du Mt Blanc - round the whole Mont Blanc Massif in 5 days!
• The Haute Route Trek - traverse through the highest and most spectacular mountains in the Western Alps
• Tour du Monte Rosa - the circuit of the Pennine Alps

Note:

Easy - ideal for beginners and people who don't do much walking.
Moderate - for people with an average standard of fitness and some previous experience of moderate walking.
Hard/Trekkers - above average standard of fitness and committed to regular walking.
