Tour du Monte Rosa

The Grand Tour of Monte Rosa is a circuit of the Pennine Alps. This demanding walk starts and finishes near Verbier and crosses between Switzerland and Italy. It makes a circuit of the Pennine Alps (which include such famous peaks as the Matterhorn).

The walk will take 2 weeks and is only available from 28th August to 11th September.

We will only accept people on this group who are confident 'hard walkers‘ or who are moderate-plus walkers, almost at the hard walker level and willing to train to be able to do the 2 weeks as described.

We will also need to discuss the walk in more detail with any individuals interested in doing the walk and probably arrange an introductory weekend in Wales. lf you are interested please email us separately to register your interest. Detailed information about the itinerary of this walk is available on request for people making bookings.

How to Book - Proceed as follows

1. Select an arrival date.
2. Choose number of persons.
3. Click the arrow to pay your deposit by credit card or cheque.
4. You will receive confirmation and invoice for the final balance (with discounts) and other details by email.
5. Cost of flight and travel is not included in the price. Do not book your flight until you have received final details & travel information from Walkabout Holidays.

Discounts available on all holidays for groups of two or more people booking together:
2-3 people booking together 2% discount pp on any holiday price
4-7 people booking together 5% discount pp on any holiday price
8+ people booking together 8% discount pp on any holiday price
