The perfect time to take walking holidays in Spain is during the months of winter sunshine when conditions for walking are superb and the mass crowds of sun worshippers are absent. In contrast to the wet and windy winters we are subject to in the UK The Costa Blanca is renowned for having very mild winters, with the majority of days remaining clear and sunny. As a result many of our walkers are able to complete the holiday's walking in shorts and T-shirts, being careful to avoid the occasional cacti that line the paths.

Easy walking holidays in Spain:

• Only basic level of fitness required - ideal for someone looking to make a start towards improved fitness and well being
• Leisurely paced walks lasting around 3-4 hours each

Moderate walking holidays in Spain:

• Enter the spectacular mountain scenery of the region
• Designed for people who walk on a regular basis
• Paths are more strenuous than those on the 'easy' grade
• Walks last between 4 and 6 hours a day

Hard walking holidays in Spain:

• Ascend to the highest mountain peaks of the Costa Blanca
• Traverse spectacular ridges
• Walks are designed for walkers who get out fairly regularly and who are reasonably fit
• Some scrambling maybe involved (available as an option)
